The Silence Challenge

I often find the most valuable lessons occur on the golf course. Consider the following challenge when you tee it up next…

On Course Exercise: Remain silent immediately after each shot.

Sounds simple enough, but how many times do you find yourself commenting aloud after a poor shot? It is impossible to tap into your ideal physical/mental/emotional state whenever you judge, rationalize, justify, comment, spew, or explain. And, let’s be honest, no one in your foursome really cares why you hit your ball in the woods! This season commit to observing each golf shot without judgment and then simply move forward to your next shot.
